Creating a world that can heal from trauma
Healing from trauma cannot take place in isolation. We are human beings that depend on others in times of suffering. And given that the nature of most traumatic experiences happens in relationship to another human person or group of people, we all play a part in the resolution of others' trauma.
What we say and do can have a profound impact on people healing from trauma. Our words and actions have the power to facilitate healing or compound suffering.
